STAY HYDRATED
Staying hydrated might seem obvious, but it’ll help you to have a much better trip in the long run. Flights can be dehydrating, so it’s especially important that you drink water on there. If you’re traveling somewhere with a warmer climate, you must stay hydrated there too. Sunstroke and other problems are very real issues.
READ UP ON YOUR AIRLINE
Reading up on an airline before you travel could end up saving you a lot of hassle. You’ll know exactly what you can and can’t take with you. Private jets are an option to consider if you’d like a totally hassle free experience – it’s all personal preference!
RESEARCH THE CULTURE
Research the culture before you arrive so you know how to act. Something can be considered offensive in other cultures. It’s only fair to respect the country you’re travelling to as best you can.
SAVE SPACE IN YOUR CASE
Save space in your case just incase you want to bring back souvenirs and other exciting things. You can save space by rolling items instead of folding them, and by placing items inside if your shoes!
HIRE A SAFE
Hire a safe to keep all of your important documents and spare cash in a safe place. You might not think you need one, but it’s better to be safe than sorry!
DON’T UNDERESTIMATE INSURANCE
People always try to convince themselves that they don’t need insurance, but insurance is beneficial to everybody. You never know what could happen, whether you fall and hurt yourself or you get mugged. It isn’t nice to think about, but you must keep yourself safe!
DON’T SHOW OFF
It’s never a good idea to show off how rich you are in a foreign country. You shouldn’t cover yourself in jewelry and other finery, as this will likely draw the wrong kind of attention to you.
AVOID STRAYS
Although you might be an animal lover and hate the idea of strays, they do exist. You shouldn’t be tempted to pet them or make friends with them. They can carry all kinds of diseases, some of which can affect you. You never know how placid they are either, so it’s best just to avoid them.
ENSURE EVERYBODY IS ON THE SAME PAGE
Everybody you’re travelling with should be on the same page. Make sure they don’t draw attention to themselves either, so you can all have a great time together.

Speaking to locals will help you to get a real taste for the area you’re visiting. You’ll more than likely discover a few things you would never have learnt otherwise too!
